There is the Adopt a Highway program where an organization adopts a stretch of highway and keeps it clean. That would be an option. In fact, I have a community service idea. I wouldn't mind wearing a Shoreline t-shirt while picking up trash along Scenic 98, then leaving a small sign that says something like, "Keeping Scenic 98 scenic...Trash pickup courtesy of Shoreline Church Destin...shorelinechurch.net" If one or two others wanted to do it with me, all the better!
